Directors of ACB (Pvt) LTD. Group of companies introduced modern concept of Transportation and Consolidation for the first time in Pakistan in 1983. This required amendments and reinterpretation of then existing rules and regulation governing Freight Forwarder Industry in Pakistan. By sheer hard work and persuasion resistance from beurocracy was overcome and a new chapter for industry opened up. Subsequently three companies were established for the group ACB (Pvt) LTD., SAL (Pvt) LTD. & IT COMMERCE (Pvt) Ltd. In collaboration with Federation Chamber of Commerce & Industry and UNCTAD (Bangkok Regional Centre), series of seminars and conferences were organized in Pakistan to project modern concept of Freight Forwarding and at a later stage multi modal transport. These events were arranged in various major cities of every province of Pakistan with large participation of representative of various ministries, Central Bank, Commercial Bank, Maritime Agencies, customs, Port and Airport Authorities.
