The company was established in 1977 with the aim of creating an independent Norwegian forwarding agent that could compete with the major international groupings through providing better service and quality. In 1994 Freja was one of the first freight forwarders that was ISO 9002 Certified. The company is known for its` qualified personnel and high level of service. Nordisk Express changed name to Freja Transport & Logistics effective from 01.01.2009. Freja is a nordic transport company with offices in Norway, Sweden, Finland & Denmark. Freja is today located in several places in Norway and has developed to be among the leading companies as to solutions, service and quality. In co-operation with the logistics manager our role is to draw up plans for the implementation of an efficient and cost saving system. The aim of such a partnership must be to reduce the total logistics cost. This requires both parties to work together in a transparent and confidence-inspiring way. The partnership should be developed on a long-term and stable basis that secures durable cost reductions and high quality in the work. Joint value analyses can provide both parties with substantial benefits. Our vision is for Freja to be the preferred co-operation partner for door-to-door logistics solutions. We will provide a reliable service and agreed quality at the right price based on an effective organisation, the use of an advanced IT and communication systems and good relations with the customers.
