Established in 1969, Modern Terminals quickly proved to be a major player in an industry which was to grow to impressive proportions in the coming decades. By 1972, Modern Terminals had built Hong Kong's first custom designed container terminal. This was the forerunner of the Hong Kong container shipping industry and it established Modern Terminals as the industry leader. Since then, in the face of an increasingly competitive business environment, Modern Terminals has developed into a fully-fledged customer-oriented company.
