We are not the usual international freight forwarders company. Although we ship around the world our expertise is Italy and Eastern Europe, in particular former Yugoslavia. We speak the languages and have a firm grasp of what is happening there now and how to best get the goods collected or delivered, quickly and efficiently. Employing major shipping lines and hauliers from throughout the Balkans, as an international freight forwarder, we are the key to the transportation of millions of pounds worth of goods for commercial organisations and multi-national charitable bodies. We oversee the loading, transit, and discharge of over 25 trucks and containers a week all over Europe from our base at Maritime House in Dover.

Services

Full Loads
We can provide driver-accompanied full load services on most routes to and from Western and Eastern Europe . Typically, dedicated trucks exclusively for a shipperâ??s cargo, whether dry, hazardous or temperature controlled. Usual routes can include shipments from Milan to Moscow, London to Kiev, Hamburg to Pristina, Gibraltar to Skopje, or Limerick to Bucharest.

Part Loads
On the bulk of routes we can provide an on-wheels collection service for smaller consignments of a few hundred kilos or a few tonnes. Generally we can collect within 24 to 48 hours of instruction.

Intermodal Service
For 2010, we are now offering a greener form transport into the Balkans; an intermodal road-rail 45ft (13.6m) pallet-wide container service with rapid transit times equal to those of a truck and with even more competitive pricing. The containers can take 33 Euro pallets 26 UK pallets. We offer this service from any collection point within the United Kingdom (including England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) to any point in the Balkans: Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia and more. This intermodal road-rail service has been tried and tested over the last few months. It offers reliability, accuracy and traceability, whilst cutting down on the carbon footprint. Not only will your shipment cost less, its environmental impact will be reduced. Full loads, parts loads and groupage are all accepted.

Groupage to Baltic States, Russia, and Turkey
We are now able to offer a co-loading groupage service to these following destinations: - Turkey We can now offer DIRECT Export Groupage services to Istanbul and Izmir. At least 1-2 departures weekly with transit time of 7-8 days. Imports normally depart Fridays from Turkey with transit time of 7-8 days. For most smaller groupage orders we collect domestically but some part loads we collect on wheels. - Baltic states, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, & Kazahkstan: All are shipped on our weekly groupage service to Vilnius, Lithuania. Loading Fridays arriving Wednesdays Vilnius. Delivery Lithuania Thursdays, Latvia / Estonia normally by Friday. Delivery in Moscow or St Petersburg, Kiev or Minsk normally following Monday or Tuesday.

Green Info

In addition to our gung ho energetic approach to shipping we try to reduce our ecological footprint as best we can. We have no company cars, we recycle, we have installed a sedum grass roof on Maritime House and planted where possible around the yards and car park. Currently we are investigating how the building can be zero emission using wind and solar power.
