Intersmit Ltd is a limited company established in 1991. It was founded by Mr. Wilhelmus Smits, a Dutch citizen, who was its longtime board director. Since 1999 the company has been headed by Mr. Tomasz Dzierżanowski. The company is registered at the County Court, Economic Department VIII of the National Court Register, under the number of 0000136096. It is based in Opole, 2 Chłodnicza Street, where its real property is located that consists of an office building, workshop, filling station, storehouse of 350 sq. meters, and a guarded vehicle handling yard of 1.2 hectares. The company provides services in the field of international transport for which it has the license no. T-0002584 issued by the Polish Minister of Infrastructure. We are a member of the Union of International Road Carriers in Poland, which means that we possess TIR carnets issued by the World Union of Road Transport, IRU, based in Geneva. The said carnets serve as collaterals for duty and tax dues related to the cargoes transported. We have a civil liability insurance for each cargo transported to the amount of $ 300.000,00. We offer services at a high European level. Our Board has professional competence certificates issued by the Institute of Motor Vehicle Transport in Warsaw and certificates of completing professional competence courses issued by the World Union of Road Transport - IRU. We specialize in the carriage services for passenger cars and also bulk, large space, large size and hazardous cargoes - ADR. We have been transporting passenger cars since 1991 and, hence, our extensive expertise in the business. Our fleet consists of car transport trucks of DAF and VOLVO with LOHR and ROLFO structures. Our transportation services comply with the CMR convention. We co-operate, including, but not limited to, with the following companies: FIAT, RENAULT - CAT, E.H. HARMS, DAIMLER CHRYSLER. We transport cars all over Europe, including the Russian Federation and the Ukraine.
