Alfa-Intersped Ltd. was founded in 1995 by Hungarian nationals, and is fully Hungarian-owned to this day. We provide domestic and international road transport and freight services to our partners. In the early days, our activities were concentrated at Budapest Ferihegy airport; we supplied staff to TNT Hungary for its courier and express mail services. The transports were carried out partly by our own truck fleet and staff, and partly by sub-contractors. The task demanded extremely accurate planning and deliveries to strict deadlines. During that period we gained significant experience in regular domestic merchandise delivery. Alfa-Intersped Ltd. carried out deliveries with trucks of 0,5-1,5t carrier capacity, and 3,2 ton trucks were later added to the fleet. After the initial period of domestic deliveries, we started international transport services, also with our own fleet. Goods carried by our company mainly included classic commercial goods, but we also placed high emphasis on the administration of importing hazardous materials. We are currently most active in the field of freight and ground transport. We constantly strive to achieve maximum satisfaction of our clients. One of the important instruments in achieving this is implementing MSZ EN ISO 9001:2001 quality controls standards. We received international ISO certification in 2004. Alfa-Intersped's sub-contractors must face and live up to very strict quality testing procedures. Our freight and forwarding agents are constantly evaluated and graded. We place great emphasis on constantly keeping in contact with our partners - both clients and sub-contractors. We are ready to undertake the forwarding of normal commercial goods, as well as hazardous materials and cooled goods. Our fleet includes 30 well-equipped, modern trucks in the 1-3,3 ton range (with soft covers, boxes as well as cooled boxes) that comply with EUR3 and EU2 norms. Our 20-24 ton rigs are also modern and environmentally sound, with semitrailers, trailers, tables or boxes. All of our trucks are equipped with GPS satellite positioning systems and cellular phones, which assures non-stop information flow towards our clients. Smaller-size freight is delivered quickly with our 1-3,3 ton trucks with cargo volumes of 25-40 m3, with two drivers to assure the fastest possible delivery throughout all of Europe, as well as the ex-CIS states. Our cargo deliveries are always covered with TIR Carnet or T documents.
